Fermented Celery

Here’s a great way to use up left over celery before its past its best. Discover just how easy it is to ferment your own food with this delicious Fermented Celery side dish recipe from our customers at Haven Hills Field & Kitchen.

Method: Weigh an empty kilner jar. Then chop the celery put in a kilner style jar and add water. Then weigh the jar with it’s contents and work out the contents only weight.

Add 2% (of content weight ) of Droitwich Coastline salt or Droitwich Pure salt with a few pepper corns. Leave for at least a week, but longer if you can.

To Serve: Serve with cold meats, cheese and/or salads.
